30 James Street wedding
Aimee and Adam had a 30 James Street wedding, which was so much fun to film. Aimee commented that I blended in throughout the day so that everyone felt comfortable in front of the camera. I love to hear feedback like this from brides and grooms.
St. Bede’s church, Widnes
The couple were married at St. Bede’s church in Widnes before heading over to the city centre venue. The bride had seven bridesmaids! They all looked amazing in their sage coloured bridesmaid dresses. The bride arrived shortly after them in the wedding car accompanied by her dad. Her husband to be, Adam, was so happy to see Aimee arrive, as you can see in the highlights video. The couple were married by a Bishop, surrounded by one hundred guests. I love the confetti shot after the ceremony. I think the confetti shots are one of my favourite parts of the day.
New York theme
This 30 James Street wedding had an amazing New York theme, as the couple got engaged in there. You can see from the image below, so much attention was paid to the theme. There were Tiffany style favour boxes and all of the tables were named after a landmark in New York such as Brooklyn Bridge, Strawberry Fields and Central Park. I especially loved the place names, which were attached to the champagne flutes. They were pretty gold, sparkly bows, which looked fantastic. The cake table was also something special, as it included delicate lollipops, and cupcakes as well as the delicious looking cake. The couple were overjoyed with the way the wedding breakfast room looked.
Aimee had a father/daughter dance after the first dance with her new husband. I think it’s a nice idea to do this, as it adds something extra to the day and can often be quite emotional. This all looks great on the wedding video.
30 James Street wedding teaser & highlights
All of the wedding video packages include a teaser trailer as well as a highlights video, which go online for you to share. The teaser trailer is about 60 seconds and is showcased on Instagram, whereas the highlights video is usually a private link on Vimeo. I also edit a web version of the highlights with different music for Youtube.
Feature length wedding film edit
All of my wedding video packages also include the full feature length edit of the day. So, this is the whole day edited with natural sound as well as music mixed in. You get the different parts of the day (depending on your chosen package): bridal prep, ceremony, photoshoot, speeches, reception, highlights and teaser all on your USB or DVD.
