Pryors Hayes Golf Club
Pryors Hayes Golf Club is such a lovely venue, nestled on the outskirts of Chester. The wedding co-ordinators couldn’t be more helpful. This is really beneficial when you’re either working at a wedding or the one getting married! The co-ordinator at Pryors Hayes kept things running smoothly on the day. There was nothing that was too much trouble. They even took us out on the golf carts to take some photos and video on the golf course. The bride and groom were even allowed to drive a golf buggy, which was really fun. It was an opportunity to get some great shots in different surroundings when going on the golf course. It also gave the bride and groom a chance to have some time to take it all in, away from their guests.
Outdoor wedding
The option to have an outdoor wedding is a real bonus. The enclosed space is private – hidden away from the main golf course. The garden is really pretty with some shaded areas and a gazebo. This is where the ceremony takes place. The day of Ruth and Paul’s wedding was so hot. The sun was so bright, which makes it a bit more difficult to film. The perfect conditions are when it’s overcast.
Photoshoot/Video
After the ceremony, the guests congratulated the happy couple. Some refreshing drinks were served on the terrace before the photoshoot started. The trees in the garden area provided some shade for the photoshoot and video.
Wedding Reception
The bride’s sister made some amazing cakes for the wedding reception. She even made the wedding cake! I filmed some shots of all of these delicious creations before they were all eaten.
Lonestar, Amazed has been quite a popular song this year for the first dance. The couple’s little girl, Sophie, joined them on the dance floor for some of the dance. The wedding guests also joined the dance floor after a while.
