Great wedding venues in the North West – Rowton Hall
There are so many great wedding venues in the North West. I’ve been very lucky to be able to visit and work at so many of them. I thought that it would be nice to share that with brides to be when looking for a wedding venue. It can be really difficult to choose a venue when there are so many options. The style, size and location all play a part when choosing a wedding venue.
Rowton Hall is a country house hotel and spa that’s situated on the outskirts of Chester. The beauty of this venue is that it’s so close to the city of Chester but it has a country feel, as the grounds and gardens are so big and perfectly kept. The garden at the back of the property is beautiful. There are flower filled archways and lavender rows lining a neat lawn. I like the red brick wall that surrounds the garden, as it makes such a lovely backdrop for photos and video.
Some brides have chosen to have their wedding photos taken in the kitchen garden, which is near to the tennis courts. Chefs use the garden on a daily basis to pick fresh ingredients. I was really surprised at how big the kitchen garden was and how much produce was being grown there.

I’ve edited together a little teaser trailer from this Rowton Hall wedding. I love the group shots at Rowton, as the balcony provides a great birds eye view of all the guests.
Wedding highlights video
This wedding video highlights was from Heather and Ally’s wedding. They were married at Bunbury Church before heading to Rowton Hall for their wedding reception. As you can see from the video, there were plenty of opportunities for photos and filming in the grounds of the hotel.
