Wirral wedding video

This Wirral wedding video was for Paul & Ann-Marie who were married at St Werburgh’s Church in Birkenhead. I attended their wedding rehearsal on the Thursday before the wedding. I like to do this so that I can get my bearings. It’s also nice to touch base with the couple and speak to the priest about where to set up on the day. Everyone was really excited at the the rehearsal about the big day.

I arrived about an hour before the ceremony to film all of the guests as they arrived. The bride arrived shortly after her bridesmaids in a gorgeous car. The flower girl, Amelia, was bride & groom’s daughter and their son, Andrew, was one of the page boys. They looked very cute as they walked down the aisle, followed by the bridesmaids and then the beautiful bride with her dad.

There were some light showers after the wedding so we had to try and squeeze in the confetti shot in between the rain. The wedding party then went to the Dell in Port Sunlight to get some shots for the photos and wedding video. The bridge in the Dell was the perfect spot to get some footage. The heavens opened shortly after we arrived at the Dell so we had to take cover under a tree until the thunder storm dispersed. After that, the sun shone brightly and we managed to get some lovely shots of the couple.

The speeches after the wedding breakfast were so heartfelt and emotional. The couples son, Andrew, read out a poem that he had written for his mum and dad. The groom’s speech was a real tear jerker. I wanted to include snippets of this in the video, which you can see below.

The first dance was to ‘From this Moment’ by Shania Twain. The children joined in with the first dance after a couple of minutes. I hope you enjoy watching the highlights from the wirral wedding video. You can watch more wedding video highlights on the Portfolio page.
